This cycling route is easy and will take you to the city of Brežice with its beautiful main street, Brežice castle which is home to Posavje museum and unique Knight‘s Hall, and the 46-meter tall water tower. In Krško, cross the bridge over Sava river and ride through Vrbina along the shore of Sava river. When you get to Brežice hydro power plant, turn towards the city centre and visit Posavje mueeum and Water Tower. and cool off with excellent ice cream. Brežice is home to Debeluh inn, one of the best inns in Posavje. Further on the route crosses the confluence of Sava and Krka rivers and continues along Krka river through the villages of Boršt, Račja vas and Župeča vas into Cerklje ob Krki. At the military post in Cerklje turn right and continue through Črešnjice, Zasap, Hrastje and Gorica towards Drnovo. Once there visit the archaeological site with the remains from Roman-era settlement called Neviodunum. Return to starting point in Krško through Brege village.
