Cycling on the plains of Krško-Brežice basin along Sava and Krka rivers provides an interesting trip where you get to know the smaller and orderly Pannonian settlements. In the summer you can also stop and take a dive into Krka river. Cycling route will take you along the right-hand side of Sava river shore which spreads out into a lake behind the nuclear power station. In Dolenje Skopice village turn from the river towards and past Cerklje ob Krki military airport until you reach Boršt village. The final destination is the wooden bridge crossing Krka river. When returning you will pass the villages along Krka river until you reach Podbočje, then cross the bridge again and overcome the many road turns of Krško basin until you reach your starting point.
