This cycling route takes you to the town of Brestanica where you can visit a historically relevant Rajhenburg castle and Basilica of Marija Lurška and drive through the tunnels of former narrow-gauge tracks. The second part of route will take you along the stream into wonderful nature with meadows, fields and forests. At the town of Koprivnica you will begin with short climbs taking you to a beautiful sightseeing point. Next part of the route is downhill and takes you to Mačkovci ponds where you can take a walk around the ponds, relax and have a break. The inn provides you with local food and drinks and is most famous for its fish dishes. On your way back you will return to Brestanica and follow the Sava river back to Krško. Along the way you will pass Gostilna Pečnik – also well known for its local food and fish which they acquire from a local fish farmer.
