Start in Dolenja vas and then walk through the forests of Črne mlake where you can find trenches and bunkers from the Second World War. A forest path will take you passed vineyards and vineyard cottages to the bee house and klavže – a water barrage.
You can see an ancient sundial at the first vineyard cottage (zidanica). Next is a short descend followed by an uphill hike to the wine-growing area of Čela. Passing Godlerjev hram and Molan and Župevc farms, the route takes us steeply uphill to the church of St. Vitus.
