Beer and BBQ festival Krško 2026
A unique event is expected in Krško for all lovers of beer, cuisine and socializing. The Beer and BBQ Festival Krško will combine the best that the Slovenian craft brewing scene has to offer, and offer visitors an unforgettable experience of flavors, knowledge and a relaxed atmosphere.
Beer and BBQ Festival Krško - a celebration of Slovenian craft beer, flavors and knowledge. The Center for Entrepreneurship and Tourism Krško is organizing the Beer & BBQ Festival Krško in the old town center again this year!
Date: Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5 p.m.
Location: Old town center of Krško (pedestrian zone at CPT Krško)
The festival will focus on the promotion of local and Slovenian beer producers, who will present various styles of craft beer brewed in smaller boutique breweries. Visitors will be able to taste a wide range of beers - from light and refreshing to complex and aromatic - and learn firsthand about the stories of the brewers.
The following providers will be presenting at the festival:
Brewery Haler, Reset Brewery, Brewery APE, One Pint, Time Brewery, Green Gold Brewing and GINeral.
A special emphasis of the event will be on education and raising awareness about the culture of drinking beer. Visitors will have the opportunity to gain insight into the basics of beer production, learn about different styles, aromas and flavors, and learn how to properly taste beer.
As part of the festival, a workshop called "Little School of Beer" will be organized, where renowned cicerone Samo Žabkar will take participants through the world of beer - from raw materials and the brewing process to recognizing flavors and proper serving. The workshop is intended for both beginners and those who want to deepen their knowledge. Price 10€/person, registration at

Double 'G', Reset Brewery and Pekarna Kruhek will provide a top-notch culinary offer, complementing the beer experience with their BBQ specialties and freshly prepared savory and sweet delicacies.
The event will also be enriched with a musical program. The energetic atmosphere will be provided by
the Big Band Krško with singer Anja Kramar, and dance rhythms will be provided by
DJ Sandi.
Sustainable aspect of the event
Once again, the event will be designed with the goal of creating as little waste as possible. The organizers, together with the visitors, strive for responsible handling of materials and encourage their circulation, recycling and reuse.
How will this be achieved?
- consistent separate waste collection on three ecological islands,
- assistance to visitors in proper separation by a "green guard", who will be present at the ecological islands,
- organization of the program in a way that reduces waste generation (returnable glass and plastic glasses, compostable food utensils),
- drinking water provided at the venue - visitors are invited to bring their own glasses or cups.

You can also reach Krško
by train – the nearest station is Krško Railway Station, from where it is a pleasant 20-minute walk to the event venue.

- by car, with parking available at the two-level car park in Zaton (approx. 5 minutes’ walk to the venue) or at the parking area near the Krško Municipal Office (approx. 5 minutes’ walk to the venue).
