Street food festival 'Taste Posavje' in old town center of Krško

As part of the autumn events, street food festival 'Taste Posavje' will take place for the seventh time this year! Join us on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. in old town center of Krško (pedestrian zone at Center for tourism).

Only the best raw materials, fine wines and excellent hosts will mark the tastiest month in Posavje again this year under the slogan FRESH - TASTY - LOCAL. Simply delicious on a plate and in a glass from the Taste Posavje brand!

Waiting for you: Gostišče Jež, Turistična kmetija pri Martinovih, Gostilna Kunst, Gostilna Repovž, Slaščičarna sladka zapeljivost, Vinarstvo Kerin, Klet Krško, Vina Huba, Albiana, Kunej wine & chocolate, Penine Istenič, Vina Dular, Pivovarna Reset.
 

Program of the event:
 
5:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.:
Offers by Chefs, winemakers, and brewers from Taste Posavje brand
Food and drinks are paid with vouchers, which will be available at two cash registers
 
18.30 - 19.30:
Concert by Big Band Krško from Studio 44
 
20.00 - 22.00:
Concert by the group Pulzz

 
Parking spaces are available free of charge on CKŽ Street, at the two-level parking lot in Zaton (5-minute walk to the venue) and the parking lot at the Krško Municipality building (5-minute walk to the venue).
 

Again sustainably and with as little waste as possible!

How are we going to do this?

• Glasses will be available according to the deposit system (€5), which can be returned until 24:00. Or you can bring your own glass from a previous festival.
• Running water will be available at the venue, so bring your own pots and glasses.
• Visitors are asked to consistently separate waste on the ecological islands.
• The event program is organized in such a way as to create as little waste as possible - returnable glass and plastic glasses, compostable food utensils.

Why do we have to deal with waste?
 
According to the data, on average, each event visitor generates more than a kilogram of waste per day. In most cases, waste at events is not collected separately, which means that even the prerequisite for recycling is not met. In Krško, we want to take a step forward and, in addition to recycling, also take care of the prevention of waste generation.
 
We are aware that the environment is about of all of us, so we want to become an example for both participants and other festival organizers. Thank you, because you will also help us fulfill our commitment and goals!
