Posavje Hiking Festival
You are invited to the traditional Posavje Hiking Festival, which takes place in the spring and autumn. The spring part runs from May 1st to June 30th, and the autumn part runs from October 1st to November 30th.
The festival offers over 30 organized tours (hiking and cycling), along with professional guidance, educational programs, rich local cuisine, local stories, and a diverse selection of accommodations.
The Posavje festival is intended for hikers and cyclists of all generations. Walking and cycling are calming activities. Organized tours are designed for learning, discovering natural and cultural heritage, and connecting with nature.
You can participate in individual hikes as a one-day trip to the green destination. Or take the opportunity to plan a real getaway and choose from a diverse range of
accommodations (hotels, youth hostels, motels, rural accommodations).
The destination Krško is also a green destination, holding the sustainable Slovenia Green Destination Gold label. The tourist offer of the destination is part of the Slovenian Gastronomic Route (
Slovenia Green Gourmet Route), which passes through destinations certified as “green”.
