Puhla pie with crackling
Ingredients (for 8 people):
500 g of flour
30 g of yeast
100 ml of milk
1. Make bread dough from the 500 g of flour.
2. Roll the dough out with a pin or stretch it out and place on an oven sheet.
3. Mix 100 g of crackling, heated just enough to melt the fat, and 3 beaten eggs, then spread on the flat bread dough.
4. Bake 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
or PUHLA WITH CREAM
Alternatively, instead of eggs mixed with crackling, you can top the puhla with a mix of 3 beaten eggs, 2 spoons of caster sugar and 100 g of ‘overheated cream’. Bake as above.
